Success with Cleveland Clinic
- Art direction for print & digital
- Digital Illustration
Before leading the design team of four art directors to a successful redesign of the flagship publication and a new microsite (as well as digital ads, e-newsletters and website graphics.) I had the honor of communicating renowned Cleveland Clinic’s success stories through their print publication (which consisted of seven versions each representing a different hospital in the system.) It involved a lot of moving parts, gathering and distilling direction from multiple stakeholders, garnering special permissions for photos and negotiating image prices.
Adrienne Russ, Communications Manager at Clevelend Clinic had this to say: “Rod art directed 7 custom print versions of our regional consumer health publication. He worked with our marketing communication managers from multiple regions in launching a successful redesign of the publication. He created digital assets: microsite graphics and digital waiting room screens. He was also adept at creating custom infographics and digital illustrations for our magazine cover. Rod was terrific to work with. He was talented in his craft, flexible, came to the table with ideas, and an all-around positive person and team player.”
